How to measure?

Run the tape where the collar sits, at the base of the neck. You should be able to slide two fingers between the tape and the coat.

For the harness, measure the chest girth at its widest, just behind the front legs.

No tape measure? A piece of string and a ruler do the same job: wrap, mark, measure it flat.
