This page describes the cookies lou-gaston.fr sets, what they do, how long they last and how to change your mind. It complements our privacy policy.
What a cookie is
A cookie is a small file a website stores on your device and reads back on later visits. Some are essential for the shop to work; others measure how well our advertising performs. The latter are only set with your agreement.
Strictly necessary cookies
These cannot be turned off: without them the shop does not work. They are not used for advertising and do not require your consent.

Advertising measurement cookies
We use the Meta Pixel (Facebook, Instagram) to measure how our advertising performs: how many people who saw an ad went on to view a product or place an order.
These cookies are set by Meta Platforms Ireland Limited and only if you click "Accept" in the banner. Until you answer, or if you decline, the script is not loaded at all and none of these cookies is set.

Meta acts here as a controller in its own right. Its practices are set out in its privacy policy. Data may be transferred outside the European Union under the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
Audience measurement
We currently use no audience measurement tool such as Google Analytics. Should that change, this page would be updated and the banner adapted before anything is set.
Giving or withdrawing your agreement
The banner shown on your first visit lets you accept or decline. Your answer is kept for thirteen months, the maximum period recommended by the French data protection authority, after which you are asked again.
To change your mind before then, delete the site's cookies in your browser: the banner reappears on your next visit and you can answer differently. Declining has no effect whatsoever on your browsing, your basket or your orders.
Browser settings
You can also block or delete cookies from your browser settings. Be aware that blocking strictly necessary cookies will stop the basket and checkout from working.
